OMG I am falling asleep here at work. Even tho I just went downstairs for my second cup of coffe; its not working. I am bushed. With all the work we have been doing around the house, I fall into bed exhausted but am not getting a good nights’ sleep.
I wish it would get warmer faster. The main reason being is that our cute and cuddly, and I mean he-who-loves-to-cuddle, gets cold at night.
Sure he looks cute in the picture, but when it gets cold at night, he gets cold and swats my face until I wake up and let him under the covers in bed with me! I wonder if acne scar removal works on cat scratches on the face and ears. Right now I have this big gash on my ear; as I guess I did not wake up fast enough for him last night and he went for the ear! Yupe, that woke me up for sure. This is wearing me out tho; every night - paw paw paw scratch! ugh. I need a nap.

Ah, rain rain rain. I love it and we need it! Today I turned off the spinklers for the season. I hope it does not get hot and dry out the grass. However, it is October and we better get more rain and snow. Plus, it smells sooo very nice outside when it rains, nothing like a cigar store for sure.
As usual, every day I try to let the Cats outside. I still have to babysit Porter as I dont want him to run away. Today he found a puddle. It was about 2 inches deep, but he was pretty fasinated with it.
He was chasing the bubbles, and watching the ringlets when the rain fell in the puddle. I thought he was okay, but then I touched the water and was it cold! So I convinced him to come inside and dry off. He, of course, had to walk thru the mud before coming in! Look at those back feet, they are filthy!
Well I am taking after my sister and got me another blog. This one is a Cat blog, so its pretty much only Cat (and Animal) stuff. I hope I will be able to keep them both up as time seems to be my enemy some days. Today was a good ‘time’ day as the kiddo was sick so I just blogged all day, heeheehee. But come tomorrow, back to the grind. Its just now I will have twice as much work (sorta speak!)

I am beginning to think that taking care of 3 Gerbils, 2 Fish, 1 Turtle and 1 Cat are almost too much for my son. He is doing very well I must say, but it is very time consuming. Yesterday it took 45 minutes to totally clean the fish tank and today it took about 30 minutes to do the Gerbil cage. Plus he does ALL the chores regarding Rosey cat and Seaweed turtle. I almost, almost feel a little guilty! Here are some pics of him working hard.
Well we took our Cat Rosey into the Vet yesterday last minute. She has been licking herself more than a Cat usually does, and she her aim is way off, and I mean Way Off, when it comes to the litter box! So I called the Vet and they took her right in. It took us a good while to get her into the cat tote tho, she was growling and hissing, and I thought I’d get my face scratched! But we got her in there and she howled all during the car ride.
We update her shots and they said she had some anal inflamation, so they took care of that too! They also said she was, hmm, a tad Fat! 16 pounds of fat to be exact! She could use a weight loss product, but we decided to just cut down her food. Now she can only eat 1/3 a cup of food twice a day and we can no longer just leave the bowl full and sitting out all day.
She has been rather grumpy today, but we are keeping an eye out. It always takes me a few days to get back to normal after a stressfull Doc’s appointment too. We love our kitty SO much !
This is our little kitty Rosey. She loves to hide under things on my couch! Plus, my son love to take pictures of her. We have way too many pictures of her, but we still take more. Hope ya’all have a great WW.
This is the strangest thing. I swear our kitties are related. This is our Rosey. She is a polydactyl; one extra toe on each foot. Check out my friend Leigh’s blog. Pretty neat, huh?
