The clean up has Begun

They have finally started cleaning it up, just in time for the duckies ! It is really pretty sad as they drag out shopping carts, lawnmowers, chairs, bikes and tons of other stuff. The water in this canal comes from our snow meltoff and is our water supply people ! ! ! sheesh. ya’d think people would have more brains that to dump stuff in their drinking water. eGads.

In our family we love bugs of all kinds. We never squish them, but carefully place them back outside. We even sometimes collect bug things, and well spider things. We have just about every thing imaginable spider-wise. Glass ones, stuffed animal ones, pictures, you name it we got it. Here is a pic of one of my favorites:
