Well the hot topic today at work is how to renew your Drivers License for 2010. My co-worker just spent the better 3 hours of her day yesterday, getting a new one. It is a pretty complicate process. Here is the web site for Utah.
So far we have determined that in order to renew, I will need to bring with me:
Old DL
New PassPort
Certified copy Birth Certificate
Social Security Card (NOT laminated)
Copy Mortgage and Copy Bank Statment for proof of residency.

and for a Learners Permit its the same! I mean really, how is my soon-to-be 15 year old son supposed to get proof of residency?! He has a PPT, SS (well I have to go get a new card that is) and BC, but the rest I am going to have to research and find out if like Student ID card is good, oh - perhaps Report Cards too.
And get this, they scan every document you present - gee I hope they dont get hacked!
This is such a pain ! ! !
