Sometimes I wonder if my Son is getting enough Fun in his life. He works very hard in school, works hard in both Scout Troops, we do volunteer work, and he has chores at home as well.
I try to remember when I was a a kid and I do remember lots of fun times with my school friends; but I remember that it was both hard work and fun at the same time.
However, being a single Mom, sometimes I think he has added pressures. and I am always buggin’ him to clean the cat litter box and with two cats, its pretty icky!
His birthday is coming up in a couple months; the time has passed long ago for personalized baby gifts, but I will have to think of something really special for him.
I wish we could go on vacation somewhere, but the money situtation makes it just not possible. We have not gone on any vacation for the past 2 years. We need to go this year ! ! ! Disyneyland is a possibility this Thanksgiving, but that is sooo far away. Oh, and I need to ask the Sis if she wants to come too; that way we can maybe split the hotel costs (cuz I dont want to stay w/the cousin this time). Ah well, so much to think about . . . .
