Hard Work

I am beginning to think that taking care of 3 Gerbils, 2 Fish, 1 Turtle and 1 Cat are almost too much for my son. He is doing very well I must say, but it is very time consuming. Yesterday it took 45 minutes to totally clean the fish tank and today it took about 30 minutes to do the Gerbil cage. Plus he does ALL the chores regarding Rosey cat and Seaweed turtle. I almost, almost feel a little guilty! Here are some pics of him working hard.

Wow! That is a lot of work.. more than I want to do! I still say get a pet Rat or two!

I’m glad that you “almost” but not quite, feel guilty! Don’t do it! He looks like he’s got the job down and knows exactly what he’s doing! I’m positive that you’re doing plenty of other work around the house!

Thanks Lynne, he does know what he’s doing, its just me that sometimes treats him like a ‘little’ boy and not a 13 year old! Its fun, yet hard, to watch him grow up
