Today after work we have to make a very quick stop at some clothing store (which one exactly is unknown at this time!) and buy shirts for my son, no Sector watches, no video games, nothing but Shirts.
Why you ask . . . ? lemme tell ya!
We went to a yard sale this weekend and they had free samples (my son LOVES free samples) of some of those little wax packets; a type of candle wax, but the kind you put in a gizmo and light a Tea Light underneath, ya know, that kind that melt and smell really nice.
Well, you guessed it, I washed his shorts and failed to take out the packet! It melts nicely for sure and has a wonderful smell too, However, Wax does not come out of clothing. At least, I cannot figure out how to get it out!
There are little circles, which look like drops, of wax all over my sons T-Shirts, and a couple of my summer tanks. They are ruined. Total bummer.
Note to Self: Check every stinkin’ pocket twice before washing ! ! !

That sux!
I have heard you can get wax out if you put a towel on either side of the fabric and then iron it. I really don’t know if that works though!!

Hi Christy, oh that does sound like it might just work! I will have to um, find the Iron and give it a try, thanks ! XO
My husband once left a yellow crayon in his pocket (for marking roads at his job) and tried to be nice and do laundry for me…ruined a whole load. He’s not allowed to do laundry anymore…
Leighs last blog post..Just another day
ew, yellow crayon would be terrible! He should have got your flowers or something instead of doing the laundry
