oh just great
Thursday 14th of August 2008 01:20:25 PMMy son has this big and I mean big, gash on his leg. Its this gapping cut that somehow happened when he was mowing the Lawn Monday. He was not near the lawn mower or any ellipticals, so I know it was not a blade, or something like that. He said that he was twisting around, and the heal of his shoe sliced him mid calf. Blood was gushing everywhere. I wanted to take him the the Doc, cuz I thought he needed stitches, but he refused. It did stop bleeding and all seemed well.
Until today. We showed the gash to my Dad and he is concerned. Said we just might want to go in and have the Doc check it out. My prob is that I have really terrible insurance and if we go, I have to pay the Full Amount of the visit and all that goes w/it; my deductible is $3200. ugh.
*sigh* will have to think on this one . . .

$3200?! OMG - girl - that is STEEP.
Hope your son is okay - mine just started mowing the lawn a few months ago and that is EXACTLY what I’m afraid of happening.
Yikes!

Ellipticals? That is really a shameless plug.
When i decided to let my kids start mowing the lawn I switched to old fashion push reel mowers. I love them(both the mowers and my children). But then I still had to watch our for ellipticals..hee hee
