Taking it off Together Tuesday
Tuesday 5th of August 2008 01:09:04 PMWell I am off to a slow start this morning as its already past 13:00 and I am just now starting to blog. ugh. I hate having to actually work at work !
Anyways, this week and the past week, has been a bit tough. I was tired of eating like a Rabbit, so splurged and had too much meat and pastries. I knew that I would gain, and I knew what I was doing, so it is not a surprize. I will get back on track and to eating like a small rodent again soon.
Congrats to all the Looser tho, you did great ! ! !

Applaud yourself for even sticking to the plan. It’s not easy, that’s for sure. I went on vacation and somehow, all those Krispy Creams I ate added a few pounds to my butt!
I’ve tagged you.

Okay here’s a little advice for you. Unsolicited.
I am not in your weight loss group but I need to lose a few and I am making some headway. You are not a rabbit so don’t eat like one. Well you should eat somewhat like one but you should also eat like a cow or horse.
Add some complex carbohydrates to your diet. I mean whole grains and beans. It really helps. And try to get your heart rate up with some exercise 30-60 minutes each day.
And don’t deny yourself. It makes you splurge. I have discovered the boxes off ice cream minis. Each one is only 80 calories. I avoid filling a bowl with ice cream. I get something tasty but it doesn’t add a lot.
Take if off baby! Take it all off! hee hee

I had a nutritionist tell me to have some protein with that fruit or veggie snack. How about those little packs of peanut butter to dip those carrot and celery sticks in? Or even a few nuts. They’re supposed to be great for your cholesterol.
And try not to fuss about it. Everyone needs a break sometimes. The important thing is to get back on track as soon as you can.

Hello Chris,
I love the picture of your Cat Rosey! You are still keeping at it and that is all that counts. What I am learning is that we just need to not beat ourselves up over this and keep going. I know what you mean about tiring of the veggies. I walked 4 miles the other day and proceded to purchase and eat chocolate cake afterwards! Take care! Cheryl
