Taking it off Together Tuesday - Week #2
Tuesday 24th of June 2008 09:27:13 AMWow. Tuesday already and I just bearly had time to weigh in. I was doin’ so good this past week; by Friday I had lost 4 lbs! However, we then went camping and I gained 3 of it back. Pooh. This week I hope will be better. I do good when I am at work all day, however, weekends just kill me! We are heading out to the Arts Festival this Friday, so if I can stay on track this weekend . . . well, I will try my best at least.

I want to know why it’s so easy to put pounds on and so hard to take them off. You still had a loss so that is great. A friend of mine told me that before I eat something to think about it for 10 minutes. After that 10 minutes if you still think you have to eat it then eat it. She claims that most of the time you will have thought about it and not want it. She lost about 70 lbs about 5 years ago. I have tried this and it doesn’t work all the time. Some times I just say screw it I’m eating it.

Hi Tammy, oh I like that, think before you eat. I should try that. I do write down everything I eat every morning when I log in here at work. But sometimes I forget, okay, on purpose! Have a great week XO

hey, love your new page…except i don’t like spiders LOL one pound is better than no pounds. easy to fluctuate during the week from so many things, stress, caffeine, etc. i was keeping a food & fitness journal, but i admit to slacking. i haven’t written in it in quite awhile and haven’t had much fitness either. :-/
congrats on the weight loss…keep it up. x

Ooh - but you’re still doing good! Loss of one pound is better than a gain of half. lol - thank you for the support! And I love that idea of “thinking about it first” and THEN eating.
Hmmn… I wonder if I can pull it off. To Tammy - I say that a LOT. Screw it - I’m eating it!! It’s like a party on my taste buds… all day!

Hi Ciara, I am so bad w/exercise as well. I never do it! The only thing we realy do is walk; to the store to the movies, etc. Since gas is so high, we walk ! Have a good week.

I thought you said you didn’t exercise. Walking counts as exercise! Great job on taking off that pound! BTW, I don’t like spiders either so I just scroll down really fast so I don’t have to look at it. It is pretty cool looking for a spider, tho.

Thanks Clara. Today we plan on taking a walk to the Grocery store as Gas is too expensive. and sorry ’bout the spider, I thought it fit me better than those little purple flower I had before, heeheehee.
