Today is Saturday and I got up at 7:30 AM. This is just depressing ! For some reason I could not sleep any longer. This is totally not me. Normaly I can sleep 24/7. So I got up, put the Cornish Hen in the over for my sons breakfast (I know, a weird breakfast food, but he hates the eggs and toast kinda stuff), cleaned the kitchen, washed the Strawberries, apples, asperagus, pears and mushroom. I have clothing in the washer and dryer, and next on the list is make the beds and water the plants.
We have tons to do today, even the kiddo has lots of Scouts stuff and homework. Maybe thats why I could not sleep anymore; I knew we had a ton of stuff to do and need all weekend to do it! I hate weekends like this. Sure, we get a lot done, we feel a great deal of accomplishment, but I need rest time too ! This evening we are staying home. It is supposed to be rather cold, so I am planning on Hot Chocolate instead of my Mocha Ice Cream Bar.

I woke up around 7:30 too. We must have some kind of sleeping gene because I, too, could sleep 24/7!!

Cornish game hens for breakfast does seem a little strange. I do like them though so maybe I will try it.
Yupe, I love hot chocolate. I have found out tho, that if I strain the cocoa in a small metal strainer, there are no lumps at the bottom of the cup, plus, it seems creamier that way too ! XO
