Remind me never to take a Sudafed ever again. It’s been so darn windy the past couple of day, the tears have just been running down my face due to allergies. So I took the only thing in the entire house; Sudafed. Now I feel like a truck just ran over me and I need to sleep to shake him off ! I sit here watching the boob-tube and I cannot keep my eyes open. I dont like pills to begin with, but I figured that anything was better than those runny eyes and constant sneezing. Boy was I wrong.

I think I will lay down and take a nap now. Good thing bed time is in an hour!

As most of you know, or if you dont know I’ll tell you now . . . I used to be a professional musician. I dont play much now, but I sill feel deep down in my heart, that I am musician. Now I just push my son to play Piano. However . . . we are taking a break at the moment. His teacher is in NYC pursuing her music career and its Spring and well, its just dang hard to practice some days so we gave up for a while. I have thought about teaching privately again, and there are loads of different styles of teaching as well. The Suzuki violin is a good way to learn. I know many people that have had their young children start on those violins. There are even good websites and DVDs that one can order online to start teaching yourself how to play. Plus, thats pretty much how I learned to play the Sax and the Piano. If my son was into the Violin, I’d sign him up for The Academy of Music Performance. I love music academy’s. They are so focused and the people there are similar to each other, so friends are made easily. I dont know if they have Master Class’s, but music people are a great bunch of people !

I was inspired by my sister blog that I was reading, well, looking at her WW pictures today, to see if I have changed in the past 10 years. And happy to say, I have, and for the better too !

Since I am so utterly bored today at work, I have been surfin around, leaving my mark on different blogs, website and social sites. I never really do this much, mostly because I get so dang upset when I dont get a reply or a Thank You for visiting type reply. I have noticed tho, that the people that do reply are us terrific women and the ones that dont reply are slacker-men. I mean really guys, why do you post your pic and bio all over the internet if you are not going to talk to people….? I wonder if it is an ego thing; they need to get themselves out there…or it could be low self esteem…..many thoughts go thru my head on this issue, especially when I am bored such as today.

However, when I am bored like this, I tend to get myself in trouble with some of these men as well. Say things I dont usually say, suggest things I dont normally suggest. I guess I do this just to perk up things and add a little excitment into this otherwise boring day. Cuz when I get home after purchasing my cat supplies, I know I am not going to want to be exciting anymore, I will just want to see my son, pet the cat and have some hot tea while lounging in my shorts and t-shirt.

Makes me wonder if I am not bi-polar, heeheehee

Wordless Wednesday, Tuesday Edition

ahhhh, home at last. Its been a drag-out long day today. Monday are usually killers anyways. We sleep in on the weekends and have a heck of a time getting up at 5 AM. Since we cleaned up so good yesterday, we didnt have the much to do today - other than the dinner, dishes, homework, laundry, pets and I cant remember what else ! Now however, I am watching the Nightly News, something which I have not done in a few days. I should probaby get luxury watches that I can look at all the time and remind me to sit my butt down and find out whats going on in this world and take a breather. *sigh*

Here it is Monday morning, 11 AM and I have finished all my work for the day. I even have my month end reports pretty much wrapped up as well. In other words, I have nothing to do ! It is rather nice, but then again, rather boring too.

Especially after such a wonderful weekend too. The kiddo and I had a great time. Got lots done too. Cleaned the garage, cleaned the entire jeepster on the inside (yes, the smell is gone!), got all our stuff ready for the Scouts garage sale next Saturday, planted corn, carrot and flower seeds. My son even took us out for Lunch on Sunday; Skippers. I was impressed, the fish was very good and one filet was only 5 WW points. So I did good.

However when its so slow at work, I tend to eat. They have Bagels and chips today. I had 1/2 a bagel and only a few chips. I just need to keep myself occupied so I dont eat. I tend to eat when bored. ugh.

I miss my motorcycle. Especially this time of the year. The air smells like flowers and its just starting to get warm, but not too warm. Mostly I miss my cowboy boots. I cant seem to find them; they were real nice too, suade. I loved wearing them while riding. I have been looking for another pair as well. What I would really love is some handmade cowboy boots. Since we are out West, we have tons of places to go for boots, but the kind I am looking for, they dont seem to have. I want nice ones, custom made-to-my-foot Cavender-nice ones! hm, maybe I will put them on my Christmas list.
