Today we did a lot around the house. Sometimes I get a bug in me and want to change things, and today I started. I purchased some yellow paint last summer, in 2007, and was planning to paint the kitchen ceiling….well, I finially did it today. And I really love it ! I was worried when I opened the paint can as it was rather on the too yellow side, but now that its up; way cool. I still want granite countertops, that that is way out of my price range. I am instead doing little things to spiff up the place first. Next might even be some Hansgrohe faucets.

Here are a couple pic’s of my ceiling area :) hmmm, the first pic is the actual color, the second one is kinda dark, but I like the Limbach symbol…

It looks fabulous! My husband hates to paint, and he knows if I start painting, he’ll have to finish it (or so he thinks), so he won’t let me start! I don’t even get to mention it! Paint makes a huge difference in a room.

Looks good. I hate to paint. My wife always scheduled painting fits when I was off on bicycle tours or away for some other reason. :)

Oh wow! I never thought to use the ceiling as the accent wall. It looks great!

Heya! Thanks for stopping by and sorry for the late reply :) I like to paint. It has been a mess around here tho, but I think I am done! Have a great week.

Hey Kim, at least you were not there to help her paint then! She can do it all alone :)

Thanks Leigh, I’ll tell you a secret…we mostly painted to cover up the chocolate milk drops….the kiddo spilled. I still dont know how he got chocolate milk on the ceiling !
