The Rec center near where we live is getting a brand new Olympic size Ice Skating rink! I am pretty excited. They are neat the way there are now, but a brand new rink will be great. *Note* I always wanted to be ‘Peggy Flemming’ when I was a little girl. ha!

So, it looks like the kiddo and I will hit the rink one last time ’till next fall. He has taken 6 weeks of skating (in Gym class at school) and I guess is getting pretty good! I have not seen him skate for a few years and he hated it with a passion! We went together a few times, but he was sooo against it I gave up. Now, in 7th Grade, he likes it ! Go Figure. I hope we have fun Sunday, I will enjoy it, much better than any type of Nike golf for sure. I dont like Golf, sooo boring. heeheehee
