The weekend is pretty much over. Sunday night, it’s our usual ‘watch the Simpson’s’ night. I dont like the Simpsons, so I choose to blog. Its been an interesting weekend for me. Sometimes I think I over analyze, and I am sure I do, but its part of my nature. ugh.

We had Movie Nite last night and had a friend over; okay, you could possibly maybe sorta….call it a date. I had a really good time. It was fun. Wholesale flowers could not have made the evening any better. However, my problem is this; I get so dang upset when I am not allowed to contibute to the food bill. I know some guys think they should pay for the entire evening, but I think relationships should be equal. Exspecially when I have food and my son has food. Why should the guy pay for all three of us!? Plus, I did not do anything in return. I just provided the movie and drinks. I feel so, well, guilty I guess!

I am so used to doing everything myself, and I mean Everything! It is very hard for me to process these feelings and change so drasticly. I did try to give him a $20, but I think he got a little pissed. I mean really…..whats a girl ta do….?

XO

I also like the Simpsons. :) Bart is what all of us want to be but societal norms prevent it. It is also such a good charactization of modern American.

And in the end the Simpson family always come through for each other.

True; in the end they are always still together. Thats the only good thing about it. I still think there is too much abusive language and abusive behavior in that show. It tells the kids that its okay to be that way and its NOT! errr… I have issues w/that show, can you tell, heeheehee XO
