I pay for very little for them once they are old enough to get a job. Some people accuse me of being a hard ass! Maybe but it is their education not mine. My parents helped when they could. I do the same. In fact, once they are out of high school I charge them rent if they live at home. Not much mind you. Just enough so they know it is not a free ride.
