Well to continue on from yesterday, I am still not feeling too hot. I did not get a good sleep and today I could sure use some joint pain relief.
I know too that my misery is part Mental. I gained 1.6 pounds over the weekend which means I have to loose 4 pounds just this week to get back on track. Yeah, like thats going to happen.
Why can I just not eat!? I mean its not hard to say No Thanks, turn my head and be a better healthier person, right?! Chalk it up to my stupidity, laziness and just plain being an idiot. I dont like being an idiot. This is depressing. ugh.
Well the Game has not even started yet and we have pretty much devoured the 7 layer dip. I am sure that this week I will not make my goal of loosing 1.5 pounds a week. I will be happy to have maintained. This next week I will really have to stick to it. The fridge is loaded w/veggies, yogurt and healthy stuff. I might need some diet aids as well, as my monthly goal of loosing 6 pounds might be hard to reach. eGads. I need to eat better! I dont feel very well . . . .
The kiddo and I are ready for the Big Game today. Yesterday he made some 7 Layer Dip. We started munching on it too and it is SO good! He really is a good cook. I cannot make anything without a recipe, so he must take after my Mom. She just throws it all together and its turns out perfect.

We have a few hours before the game starts so I hope we dont eat it all before hand! I know he has lots homework, at least two hours if not more, so we have to do that first. We wont need to worry about Mobile internet as we are staying home all day - unless . . . we might hit McD’s and check out those 50 McNugget Deal . . . . hmmmmmmm
I need to focus. Today I had a Hot Dog. bad bad bad. I have been doing so good this past Month, but today - a small slip. It started out this morning at work when we had a meeting and Bagels with Cream Cheese. I had one of those too! bad bad bad. However, there are still three days left in the week in which to concentrate and get back on track.
The weather has been so nice, we just might take a long walk this weekend; which will help. Plus, if it warms up even more, I can take off our discount rugs from the tile and perhaps mop the floor. If I do that (and the walking) I should burn off those calories I just ate in that oh-so-yummy Hot Dog. I hope. sheesh!
Went to Walmart yesterday to shop, yeah, I know, I really do dislike Walmart - but they do have low prices on certain items . . . anyways, I save a little over $11.00 in coupons! so exciting, heeheehee. Here are some links for my fav online coupons!

In my quest to Save Money, Spend Less and Loose Weight, I have joined o-a-many online coupon sites. My all time fav is Coupon Mom.com. I can simply print all my coupons online and its a very friendly site to use. I also like Coupons.Com and CouponCabin and Red Plum.
Right now I have a pile of coupons at home that I need to go thru, as I have printed a tad too many and need to discard the ones I am not going to use (like those Betty Crocker Mini Cake thingys!).
Since I am getting a tad overloaded I think I just might need to get me a notebook computer just to keep my coupons in order!
I never did like cutting coupons, but now - its really not bad doing it sitting in front of a pc
My son and I have been having muliple discussions at home regarding Soda. The other day, we got into a very heated discussion in fact! He drinks Mountain Dew. I hate the stuff and myself, drink Diet Coke. Its not like I am totally again drinking Pop; I have one a day at the most; some days I dont even have anything.
Anyways, getting back on track here . . . He drinks waaaaay to much MD (Mountain Dew). I will give him the 1/2 can in the mornings before school (as I have my Coffee) and I will give him ONE can of MD after school to get him thru his homework, but at thats it ! Over the holidays he was drinking up to 3 cans a day. Not to mention cost and calories, its just flat out bad for anyone to drink that much. I was finding MD cans hidden in the bathroom, his closet, his clothing drawers, errrrr I was so mad!
Since there are only about 10 cans of MD left in the entire house, I told him - No More MD unless it is diet Dew. Well he freaked! (he hates diet Dew!)
Eventually we worked out a deal in which he will have a little in the mornings (half can or less) and only ONE can after school. I will give him that as long as he eats more Veggies, less meat and potatoes, and either maintains his weight, or losses a few pounds.
Since I am like a total calorie counter, and I tend to blab about it to him all the time - he is getting good at figuring how much calories are in the foods that he eats. So the past few days have been pretty good. He is keeping to his ‘eating better’ plan and I am allowing him to have his MD.
All good in the end. Lets hope it continues that way ! (after all, he IS only 14)
I have decided that I want to go to Las Vegas this June. The kiddo and I cannot really afford any type of ‘normal’ vacation this year, so he suggested we zip down there for a couple days.
I have been searching on line and Excalibur is the best price and entertainment for Families. The only bad reviews I have read is that there are tons of, I guess you would call them Peddlers, trying to get you to listen to a life insurance quote, or sell you a condo share, or some other product. But they dont really bother me much, I am very good at ignoring people!
The prices start at $44 a nite; not too bad. Compaired to our hotel in NYC last summer, this is a bargain for sure! They have so much kid stuff there now, I am sure our trip would be fun. RollerCoaster, Pool, SpongeBob Ride, Aqariums, Tigers, the list goes on.
We still have a few months to decide, oh - and I would need someone to take care our animals that would be stuck at home . . . any volunteers!? heeheehee
